David Cameron has asked Gideon to explain how it’s happened, but Gideon just keeps mumbling something about the money ‘falling down the back of the sofa’ or that it’s the ‘wrong kind of recovery’. Dave is particularly annoyed, because he wanted to buy a new bumberchute stand and a new case for all his monocles, but he can’t now, because everyone will think we’re not all in this together.
